Nikki Sharma

The artwork of Jaipur-based artist Nikki Sharma is a visual display of her
own experiences. Through her refined language of abstraction, her
paintings display different expressions that reflect human behavior in both
conscious and unconscious ways. It is mostly direct and unplanned.
Experimenting with various mediums and styles is fundamental to her
process, freeing her from being categorized.
Sharma is a self-taught artist who has been making art since she was 7.
Her work is inspired by her solo travel experiences, encountering different
humans, nature, culture, etc., creating a spiritual impression 
by painting or drawing in any available medium.  Mediums used in her artwork are acrylic,
oil, pastels, and watercolors alongside resin, flora, spices, coffee, and other
natural colors. Other than using canvas, the artist works on
wood, clay, concrete, and wax as well.

She likes to travel, photograph, and write about her experiences and encounters with life,  lives and works in Jaipur, however, keeps on traveling for inspiration around the country.
